On Tuesday, Austin City Council directed staff to study the possibility of burying power lines after an ice storm left thousands without power.
This announcement comes from the ordinance that the Austin City Council unanimously passed on Feb. 23.
Austin Police officers are a little more than a month away from possibly working without a contract.
The resolution would bring more affordable housing both on and off campus.
Council member Velasquez, Council member Ryan Alter and Council member Zohaib “Zo” Qadri were elected in December’s runoff election, along with Mayor Kirk Watson.
