Christopher Bell was declared the winner of the rain-shortened NASCAR Cup Series' Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
Christopher Bell finally has a big win to put on his resume, even if it was a little anticlimactic. Bell won the Coca-Cola 600 on Sunday at Charlotte Motor Speedway after the race was called around midnight Eastern time due to wet weather with 151 laps remaining. The race had been red-flagged for more than two hours following a steady downpour. Attempts to dry the track were unsuccessful.
Austin Cindric, driver of the No. 2 Menards/Duracell Ford Mustang, finished 20th in the rain-shortened Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway Sunday evening.
Christopher Bell dominated much of Sunday's Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway, and was rewarded with the winner's trophy when the race was declared official after 249 of 400 laps due to inclement weather.
