A total of 2200 participants greeted the start line across the four distances – the half marathon, 10km, 5km and 2km. They went down 8-2 in Mackay on Saturday, with Ryan Hawken and Paul Jackson slotting the team’s goals early in the second half. The CQ North under-23s were beaten 2-1 in their clash.
