About a half dozen retailers have opened at the South Mall in Salisbury Township over the past several months.

Flatcats, selling a wide array of candle holders, trinket boxes and other home decor embellished with cat silhouettes, opened a few months ago at the Palmer Park Mall. The business features the original handpainted works of Forks Township artist Shirley Shaffer.

After a more than year-long hiatus, a landmark Allentown diner is readying to serve up disco fries, omelettes, triple decker clubs and other familiar favorites once again.
