GC for a Cure Run/Walk raises $15K for charity
The 14th annual “Garden City Teachers’ Association event, a 5K timed Race, and a 1-mile Fun Run/Walk”, held on Saturday, April 29th, was a huge success, despite the stormy weather. This annual event that attracted 150 participants and 50+ volunteers raised approximately $15,000 for the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society,
