HAMPTON, Ga. (AP) — John Hunter Nemechek passed Justin Haley at the start of overtime and held off Daniel Hemric to win the NASCAR’s Xfinity Series race at Atlanta Motor
The 26-year-old Nemechek from Mooresville, North Carolina, led the final three of 169 over-scheduled laps and prevailed in overtime by fending off Daniel Hemric for his third Xfinity victory of the 2023 season.
It didn’t look promising early, but John Hunter Nemechek finished the job on Saturday at Atlanta.
