The deadly avalanche at Palisades Tahoe Wednesday morning happened near KT-22, a chairlift that is world-renowned as one of the best for advanced skiers. After two days of closures, KT-22 reopened on Friday morning. The reopening followed extensive avalanche work, Palisades Tahoe said.
