Just when some of Bollywood's actors were looking for some fun and games, COVID-19 has come back with renewed vigour and the new restrictions all over have put a bucket of water on many plans. One such casualty is the All Stars Football Club football matches which were supposed to start next month- but now stand firmly cancelled for January 2021. The decision was taken just two days back and there's a pall of disappointment across the industry regarding that. The matches were scheduled largely in Dubai, Bangalore, Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
A source tells ETimes, "We were earnestly looking forward to Ranbir, Arjun and many others entertaining us in January. But now, God knows when it will happen. Film producer Bunty Walia (head honcho of GS Sports who helms the competition) had gone all out to make the stage ready but now, it seems it will be at least February or maybe even beyond that we shall witness football matches played by Bollywood celebs."
