High school graduations this Friday, Saturday

Today, June 2, is my kind of day. It is National Rocky Road Day! Yes, as in rocky road ice cream, rocky road candy, and rocky road anything that contains chocolate, almonds/walnuts/pecans, and mini marshmallows (trail mix, popcorn, Rice Krispy treats, etc.). Rocky road ice cream is one of my favorites.
Way back when, one of the commercial milk producers made Rocky Road ice cream with walnuts; it was the best. But times have changed and almonds are used now. Itâs still good, love the taste, but I miss the walnuts.
However, the local candy store does make rocky road candy with walnuts and, at Easter, they make large Rocky Road Easter Eggs. Can you say yummy? ....
