Valley schools to receive $2.1 million for security from state

(COLUMBUS, Ohio)—Ohio Governor Mike DeWine announced today that the state will support the installation of security upgrades at more than 700 K-12 schools across Ohio.
Funds will be used to cover physical security enhancements such as cameras, door locks, alarms, public address systems, and metal detectors.
Marlington, Minerva and Perry school districts are among those that will receive safety grants.
