47abc March 11, 2021 DOVER, Del. – A Dover man was arrested on Tuesday following two separate burglaries. At around 2:20 a.m., officers responded to the Valero gas station located at 530 N. DuPont Highway for a burglary alarm. When officers arrived on scene, they noticed a window had been shattered to the business. Surveillance footage showed the suspect, identified as 22-year-old Kyle Batson, entering the business and stealing cash and cigarettes from the store. A witness told police they saw Batson jumping into a dumpster. Batson was located and arrested on third degree burglary, theft under $1500, and criminal mischief charges. He was released on his own recognizance. ....
