Police appeal after robbers strike twice within 90 minutes
Police are appealing ROBBERS struck at convenience stores in Leigh and Hindley on Monday night threatening staff and stealing cash and cigarettes. The robberies took place within 90 minutes of each other at a McColls in Hindley and a Spar in Leigh. At around 8.30pm on Monday, December 21, three people entered McColls on Atherton Road, Hindley. At around 9.55pm, three people then entered the Spar on Firs Lane, Leigh.
