Created: April 10, 2021 03:29 PM Collecting trash is a collective effort, and this year, participation for Keep Duluth Clean was up 30% from last year. “We currently have about 500 people signed up,” Alaina Lawrence, events co-coordinator said. The event goes on all weekend, so people still have time to particpate. Those who would like to sign up can do so here. “It really takes everyone doing these big projects like this,” Lawrence said. On Saturday, families, friends and neighbors cleaned up bottles, wrappers and more. “We organized a little neighborhood get together,” Bobby Hahn of Duluth said. “And came up with this truck load of trash.” ....
