Local delight as Horse and Groom re-opens after major refurbishment
Months after shutting due to the pandemic, the Horse and Groom in Charlton has re-opened for business. In March, the decision was made by owners Butcombe Brewing Co to close the popular pub due to the coronavirus pandemic. A major refurbishment has now taken place to revamp the restaurant, rooms and more at the 16th century inn. The Horse and Groom, a grade II-listed, now has five revamped bedrooms alongside a new event space and dining room.
