SARS-CoV-2 Optimised Precipitation Reagent and Enrichment Kits for Isolating Virus Particles  Labmate Online

Jan 21 2021 Read 627 Times The Invitrogen Intact Virus Precipitation Reagent and Dynabeads Intact Virus Enrichment Kits* are optimised to isolate intact SARS-CoV-2 virus particles such as infectious virus, inactivated virus or virus like particles (VLPs). While virus cultures are often required to obtain sufficient virus yield, long isolation times can slow down sample analysis. Thermo Fisher’s Intact Virus Precipitation Reagent purifies intact SARS-CoV-2 virus from large, dilute samples in only three steps and in less than three hours, while the Dynabeads Intact Virus Enrichment Kits ...

Simultaneous GC-MS and FID analysis of blood alcohol content utilizing robotic autosampler for automated sample preparation - Vimarsana News

Simultaneous GC-MS and FID analysis of blood alcohol content utilizing robotic autosampler for automated sample preparation

8 January 2021 In this application note, Shimadzu explains how using a GC-MS paired with a flame ionization detector (FID) for simultaneous data collection for blood alcohol content (BAC) analysis provides highly repeatable compound identification and ethanol quantification. This application note demonstrates how using a robotic sampler for sample preparation eliminates the need for analyst sample creation while maintaining a high level of accuracy and repeatability across a broad linear range.
