The issue of sand mining in Bihar recently came into focus when a tractor transporting sand mowed down a police sub-inspector during a raid in Jamui district on Tuesday morning.
खान एवं भू-तत्व विभाग के एक निर्देश के बाद सभी जिलों के खनन पदाधिकारियों ने बंदोबस्त प्रक्रिया शुरू कर दी है। 28 जिलों के करीब नौ से बालू घाटों से अक्टूबर महीने से बालू खनन का काम प्रारंभ हो जाएगा।
