I was really thrilled, yes. i ll never forget that day as long as i live. how long did it take you? it s quite an extraordinary artwork, really. it took me two years to complete. i knitted the main house the first year, and then we went into lockdown and i done the second half the second year. we completed it at the beginning of may this year. and how did it come to her majesty s attention, resulting in an invitation for you to go and visit? it s been arranged for it to go into sandringham on display, and then at that point we went into lockdown, so i was still working on it at home and obviously in lockdown and nothing else happened. and then when lockdown finished, we were invited to go up and set it up in the ballroom on display for the summer, and it s in there now until mid october. ....
