Victims' parents were among the relatives who spoke emotionally in Nottingham Crown Court ahead of killer Valdo Calocane being sentenced for manslaughter.
Calocane stabbed Grace, fellow University of Nottingham student Barnaby Webber - both 19 - and school caretaker Ian Coates, 65, in a horrific city-wide rampage on June 13 last year.
The mothers of Grace and Barnaby wept in court as the details of how Grace attempted to stop Calocane, 32, killing Barnaby were laid out.
