47abc May 19, 2021 MARDELA SPRINGS, MD.- Behind five runs in the top of the 7th inning, the Bennett Clippers defeated Mardela 9-7 to move to 4-1 on the year. The loss drops the Warriors to 4-2. On the day that the MPSSAA voted 57-1 to hold a state tournament, we were treated to a top Bayside South matchup in Mardela. The Warriors sitting at 4-1 on the year welcomed in the Bennett who was having one of their best years in a while. The Clippers came out firing, taking a 4-3 leading the bottom of the fifth inning.
