According to information, Ravindra Singh, had filed his nominations for the post of sarpanch in panchayat election from Kanjera village in Deori block. He, however, died on June 22 due to cardiac seizure over a week before voting.
Sub-jail superintendent Mahendra Singh Raghuvanshi confirmed that Anwar was in jail since June 4, 2022, and he never moved out of sub-jail for campaigning.
Other candidates complained that 22 votes were rejected and no one was listening to their agents, sitting on their behalf.
