The Yogi government in Uttar Pradesh is installing panic buttons and CCTV cameras in city buses, Ola, and Uber cabs to ensure the safety of passengers, especially girls, women, and the elderly. These panic buttons and cameras will be integrated with UP-112, allowing passengers to seek help in case of emergencies. The Transport Department is testing the installation of these devices in city buses and has completed testing integration with Uber.
