As the coronavirus vaccine rollout in Bering Strait villages continues, more and more community members have a chance to receive the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines in their local health clinic. Local Community Health Practitioner (CHP) Danielle Reynolds says the COVID-19 vaccine offers a solution to one of the greatest challenges of running a village clinic during a pandemic. “Not being able to see patients if they’re symptomatic, like in person.
