Former Pine River Cheese property bought by another local cooperative
Say Lucknow Co-op! The cooperative bought the former Pine River Cheese building on Highway 21 south of Kincardine. Lucknow Co-op General Manager Allan Scott posted on the company’s Facebook page about the sale on Tuesday. He says to stay tuned to see what’s next adding they are looking at future options. Pine River Cheese decided to cease operations in 2019 due to market pressures and the effects from a 2010 fire at the plant.
