Poughkeepsie Day School plans to reduce tuition as it reopens
Poughkeepsie Day School closed last spring after 86 years of operation, citing declining enrollment and an unsustainable economic position. As it reopens this fall, the school's new leadership says it has a plan for addressing those concerns, which includes lowering tuition rates by 20%, improving teachers salaries and, in time, relocating from its longtime home on Boardman Road.
