Kingwood resident Chris Parker announced her candidacy for the Humble ISD school board Wednesday, Jan. 13 with her husband, children and mother in attendance.
I fully understand the importance of providing our youth a competitive education that prepares them for a global world, which is a daunting task. I am pursuing this position with a commitment to maximize student outcomes while promising fiscal responsibility to the community. I firmly believe that teacher inclusion is imperative to formulate strategic planning from the bottom up, rather than top down, she said. ....
