The 33rd annual Ig Nobel Prizes in improbable research that make people “LAUGH, then THINK,” according to its website, were revealed this week. The awards are produced by the Annals of Improbable Research magazine.
The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on Friday said that Vikram Lander on board the Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft, the third Lunar Mission, has detected plasma in the south polar region of the Moon.
“Smooth sailing is continuing. The Mission Operations Complex is buzzed with energy & excitement!” ISRO said. In case of any problem in the last minutes, Plan B will kick in.
Soft landing will be attempted at 5:47 pm on August 23 from the shortest distance. If there is a problem in landing on August 23, then there will be an attempt again after a month.
