Criminal charge against Laurynn Evans may be dropped if she meets conditions of a pretrial diversion agreement, a Kitsap judge said Wednesday.
The criminal case brought against North Kitsap School District superintendent Laurynn Evans may be dismissed in August after the judge in a Feb. 28 Kitsap County District Court hearing approved a six-month pre-trial diversion agreement negotiated between the state and defense counsel.
The charge, stemming from a Jan. 26 incident when several signs opposing a bond were moved, calls for Laurynn Evans to appear in court Feb. 28.
School board will vote on matter Feb. 8
