Action urged over dangerous flooding of play area
The lake takes over the play area on a Bedale housing estate whenever there is heavy rain WORRIED councillors are calling on builders and local authorities to help sort out a “dangerous lake” which repeatedly takes over a play park during periods of heavy rain. The lake forms regularly on the park on the Southfields Estate in Bedale, in the centre of a housing development built by Persimmon Homes 20-years-ago.
