Calvin Sherman, 50, of Orchard Street, is charged with robbery, burglary and assault, all in the third degree; fifth-degree larceny; interfering with an officer; engaging an officer in a pursuit and operating an unregistered motor vehicle, police said. Capt. Ronald Smith said in an email that officers responded to Mix Avenue address for a reported fight in progress Dec. 18, and a dispatcher then told them that a victim had allegedly been assaulted as part of a robbery involving a weapon , with the suspect fleeing in an older Nissan. ....
