Boeing, nasa, and the maker of the rocket, ula, are working to find out exactly why that computer system did not fully activate at the right time. the two astronauts aboard the starliner commander butch willmore and commander soni williams exited about an hour after the scrub. boeing s hoped today s launch would have transported them to the international space station, making it the second private company able to do that after spacex. but starliner has faced years of setbacks. an attempted launch last month called off due to technical issues and now today s scrub. both astronauts have said they are willing to wait until all systems are a go for a launch, but they have been in quarantine now for more than a month preparing for this launch. and nancy, now yet another delay. well, hopefully they ll have better luck on wednesday. manuel bojorquez, thanks so much. tonight severe storms and possible flash flooding are threatening several states. take a look at dallas. the city was hit ag ....

They don t have enough time to troubleshoot the issue that caused saturday scrub and the issue had nothing to do with the boeing starliner spacecraft that sits on top of ull as atlas five rocket and the issue really had nothing to do with the rocket itself either. so the hardware was actually good on saturday. the problem was with the ground computers that are located at the base of the launchpad, three big computers that are all responsible for telling the rock when it s time to launch. and if it s go for launch in those final few minutes before liftoff they require triple redundancy. all three computers shooters have to be go for lunch. two were go for launch on saturday. one was not. or maybe it was just too slow. we just don t know yet, but because that one one computer didn t give the green light at the exact, precise time. that was needed, that triggered a hold which then led to a scrub because this rocket ....
