And this boy whose shirt was ripped off from the force of the wind. the boy had been seating at the window seat just in front of the door plug when it blew out of the plane. that passenger, kelly bartlett, is out front now. kelly, i really appreciate your being willing to talk to me and relive this extremely traumatic experience that you had. but this moment is incredible. you hear this extremely loud boom, a chunk is ripped from the plane. you re sitting just in front of it so you re maybe trying to figure out what happened and this teenage boy jumps in the seat next to you his shirt ripped off. can you tell me exactly what happened? yeah, it was crazy. it was just so scary when you it happened because you just hear thatloid noise and the plane filled with wind and the masks dropped and something you don t want to experience on flights. it was chaos for a few minutes when everyone was putting their masks on. ....

Emergency door that could be fitted into this airplane. but this particular model did not have a need for it. it s only needed if it has more passengers on board. and alaska air decided to have a fewer seating version of the 7:37-9. so these doors, one on both sides, are called blogs. passengers inside would not know there s a door there, it looks just like a normal window. on the outside, you ll to see the outline of where the door could be installed. okay, interesting. so it s not this might look to you like an emergency exit. it s not, that it s more like a window. but tell us about what happens to these individuals who would have been seated in these seats right here? what on earth would this been like for them if those seats were not there? unfortunately, there were prior incidents where people receded in this particular seat, ....
