sat: At 1,192, number of pleas filed in SAT up 53% this fiscal
The Securities Appellate Tribunal (SAT) in India has reported a record number of appeals filed by market participants, reaching 1,192 - up 53% YoY. This rise in appeals is a direct result of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) increasing its regulatory action, conducting 144 investigations and increasing staff numbers by 9%.
