Lessons in giving at B.L. Miller Elementary Special to The Alliance Review A smaller staff didn t slow the effort of B.L. Miller Elementary School students to collect food for the needy in their community. Because of the COVID-19 virus, third-grade teacher Leann Laure said the collecting, sorting and organization process of the annual Christmas Can Food Drive had to be limited this year. “I have a smaller group of students who are in charge because I have to limit the number of students who collect,” Laure said. “I chose two intervention groups for this.
