A suicide bomber attacked the Turkish capital, Ankara, near the Ministry of Interior Affairs. One assailant blew himself up while the other was shot by the police. Two police officers were injured. The attack occurred before Parliament was set to reopen after its summer recess. The Turkish government has not yet identified the perpetrators, and no one has claimed responsibility for the attack.
