On Friday afternoon, police responded to reports of an exchange of gunfire at 405 Harris Avenue shortly before 2 PM. There is no additional information being released at this time. Latest in Providence Providence Police on Friday reported that two men were shot in the city on Thursday night. Earlier this week, a drive-by shooting occurred at the location of the city's fourth homicide of the year the day before. Friday's homicide now marks the city's fifth of the year.
