Just a short time ago a federal Appeals Court heard arguments on trumps efforts to overturn a 2023 judgment against him in the first case filed by writer e. Jean carroll. She was awarded 5 Million after a jury found trump liable for sexually abusing her in 1996. Carroll won a separate judgment against trump for more than 83 Million for defaming her.
