From Anne Grant, Fareham: The interesting and informative letter from Roger Bunney (CP 29-01-21), about the Second World War Ventnor ‘Y station’ on Rew Down, brought back memories of a letter I received in March 2015 from Mrs Rose Davies of Shrewsbury. Rose, who was 98 when she wrote to me, shared her memories of being stationed on the Island during the Second World War.
