The Pearl Griffin Memorial Latch Key Program will be hosting their annual Hamburger Supper Fundraiser on Tuesday, April 13th from 5-7pm at 2411 Coggin Avenue.   This event will look a little different from past years as everything will be outdoor seating (weather permitting) and take out.  The Pecan Valley Kiwanis will be cooking the burgers and hotdogs for the program as in past years and then prepared in to-go boxes for safe and easy pick up.  Hamburger supper meals are $5 for children and $7 for adults which includes either a hotdog or hamburger with chips and a drink. Good Samaritan Ministries’ Empty Bowls Project returns for its 12 th year on Thursday, April 29, and like last year, the event will follow a drive-through format. Bowls will be available from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the GSM Food Warehouse, located at 305 Clark Street. “Back in early January when we had to make a lot of decisions we were still in the middle of a virus surge,” said GSM Executive Director Leesa Stephens. “So our board felt that going ahead and doing another drive-by type event would be the easiest to manage. The Pearl Griffin Memorial Latch Key Program annual hamburger supper fundraiser will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 13 at the Fellowship Hall at the First Christian Church, located at 2411 Coggin Avenue. A hamburger or hot dog with chips and a drink will be available for $7 for adults and $5 for children. There again will be a raffle with tickets available at one for $1 or six for $5. The drawing will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 13 and you do not have to be present to win.
