DES MOINES — Senate Republican lawmakers revived an effort that would give the governor more power in the process of selecting Iowa district court judges.
The bill also would raise judges' pay, although not as much as was requested.
The Iowa Senate sent Gov. Kim Reynolds a bill Tuesday that tightens Iowa’s laws and regulations on consumable hemp products as the products become more widely available.
