Film screening at Harbor Church
This Friday, April 2, there will be no movie at 7 p.m. Look for film screenings to
resume on Friday, April 9.
Helping Hands Food Pantry
The Helping Hands Food Pantry will be open for distribution of food on Wednesday, April 7, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Harbor Church. Please wear your mask
and bring your reusable shopping bags. (Rain or snow date will be the next day,
Thursday.) The next date will be Wed. April 21.

The Block Island Arts and Crafts Guild is accepting applications for the
annual art scholarship awards. Graduating high school seniors may be eligible for $1,000 and college students pursuing the arts may be eligible
for $750. Both are nonrenewable awards. The application, with portfolio,
should be submitted by the deadline May 3, 2021 to either Teri McCombe
(401-742-5501) or art teacher Lisa Robb (401-466-5600). Scholarship criteria and applications are available in the B.I. School guidance office.

the 2021 BIYC Maritime Scholarship program. Students who have already
graduated from the Block Island School, intend to pursue a maritime career,
and are currently enrolled in a college undergraduate maritime program at
an accredited institution may receive up to $1,000 annually to advance
their education. Request for application forms or for any questions, contact
