Sightings of a missing Manawatū man are encouraging, but police are urging people to stay with him until they arrive.
For two months search parties have combed Palmerston North and Feilding for Bir Bahadur Poudel​, 69, a Bhutanese man who vanished on October 23.
Poudel​ lives with his son Gopal Poudyel​ on John F Kennedy Dr, Palmerston North. He left his house at 8.30am and hasn’t been seen since.
Detective Sergeant Dave Wilson has been working on leads to find Poudel​, but as time draws on police are relying on sightings from the public to increase the odds of finding him before Christmas. ....
