SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Monday's fire in the meadow behind Motel 6 in South Lake Tahoe is being investigated as arson by the South Lake Tahoe Police Department (SLTPD). On July 3 at 9:25 a.m., South Lake Tahoe Fire Rescue, U.S. Forest Service, and CAL FIRE Amador-El Dorado Unit responded to the wildfire.
11AM UPDATE: - This morning, South Lake Tahoe Fire Rescue (SLTFR), U.S. Forest Service, and CAL FIRE Amador-El Dorado Unit responded to a small wildfire behind Motel 6 on US50 in South Lake Tahoe. The fire was reported at approximately 9:25 a.m. and forward progress has been stopped.
