Explorers have found one of the most famous shipwrecks in history, Ernest Shackleton's Endurance, deep in the icy sea off Antarctica more than a century after it sank, they announced Wednesday.

Researchers find Sir Ernest Shackleton’s expedition ship, Endurance, which was trapped, crushed, and sunk by sea ice near Antarctica in 1915.
The wooden ship had not been seen since it went down in the Weddell Sea in 1915.
