Purdue University has been recognized as one of the “Best of the Best” colleges and universities for LGBTQ+ students. With an array of social events, special lectures, supportive resources and a 5-out-of-5-star-ranked LGBTQ Center within the Office of Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging, Purdue ranks No. 1 in the state and No. 11 in the nation in Campus Pride’s 2022 list of Best Colleges for LGBTQ+ Students.
(RNS) — 'Campus Pride envisions campuses and a society free of anti-LGBTQ+ prejudice, bigotry, and hate,' said Campus Pride Executive Director Shane Windmeyer.
Virginia Wesleyan University is one of 40 institutions that were selected as a 2022 honoree among the "Best of the Best Colleges and Universities" for LGBTQ+ Students by Campus Pride.
UMass Amherst has been named to this year’s list of campuses creating a safe, welcoming environment for LGBTQ+ students, faculty and staff, according to Campus Pride, the preeminent resource for LGBTQ+ leadership development, diversity inclusion and advocacy within higher education.
Among them were UW-Eau Claire, UW-Green Bay and UW-Milwaukee.
