Kichcha Sudeep in Shankar's film with Ram Charan? | Tamil Movie News

It is well known that ace filmmaker Shankar will be directing Telugu actor Ram Charan for a big project, which will be a pan-Indian film. With the shooting of Kamal Haasan-starrer Indian 2 directed by Shankar being delayed, it was officially announced earlier in February that Shankar will be directing Telugu actor Ram Charan. Now, the latest buzz is that Kannada star Kichcha Sudeep has been approached for an important role in the film, tentatively referred to as RC15 .
Reports are doing the rounds that the story has been narrated to actor Kichcha Sudeep, who is yet to take a call on the role. The script is being written by the master director himself with Vivek also contributing to the screenplay and dialogues. ....

In recent times, Tamil directors joining hands with Telugu heroes have become a trend. Popular directors Shankar and Lingusamy have already announced their respective films with Ram Charan and Ram Pothineni. Now, AR Murugadoss is following the new trend, and he will be reportedly directing Allu Arjun in his next film. The film is to be produced by Ally Arjun s father Allu Aravind under the banner Geetha Arts, and it will be a huge Pan Indian film. However, no details of this AR Murugadoss s directorial are out.
Reportedly, after walking out from Thalapathy 65 AR Murugadoss was said to be doing a full-fledged animated film next. But the director needed more time to start the work for the live-action drama and decided to team up with Allu Arjun. AR Murugadoss was also rumored to direct Sivakarthikeyan, and the report still stays as a rumor since there are no signs about their union. ....

Shankar the maverick filmmaker from the South known for his big-screen fantasies has lately found himself in a bit of a legal jam. First there was the producer of Shankar’s 2005 Telugu blockbuster
Anniyan. Producer Aascar V Ravichandran claimed and rightly so that the story and screenplay rights of
Anniyan belonged to him and therefore Shankar was not within his rights to do the remake.
Now comes an even bigger blow to Shankar’s epic plans with his long-delayed
Indian 2 finding itself in a legal imbroglio. The producers Lyca Productions have now gone to court to forbid Shankar from directing any other film until he completes ....

Indian 2 producer Lyca Productions has filed a complaint in court against the director Shankar and appealed for a stay to stop Shankar from beginning the works for his new film. The judge, who heard the case last week, had asked the director and the producer to have a friendly discussion to find a smooth solution for the film. Now, the latest report is that negotiations between the producer and director Shankar have failed.
Director Shankar has reportedly assured to finish the film works between June and October. But the makers have urged the director to finish the works by June. This raised a disagreement between the two, and the negotiation failed. Then the judge has adjourned the next hearing to June. Now, the dispute between the director and the producer has raised the threat that the much expected Indian 2 might be shelved. ....
