Empty boxes. a moment later, the peace and quiet of the morning routine is shattered. i felt a shift and saw the shelf slowly tipping. and as soon as i saw that first section start to move, i just turned around and i ran as fast as i could out of there. the end of the shelving started pulling away from wall, from the front of the store to the back of the store. in just under ten seconds, 68 feet of shelving holding almost 7,000 bottles of wine crumples to the ground unleashing a tsunami of the finest merlot. smashed bottles everywhere, glass shards laying everywhere on the ground, wine just flowing. directly after, you could hear champagne bottles actually popping because they were so shook up and banged up that the tops were just coming right off. it was just so unbelievable. anywhere from one to two inches of wine that was flowing out the front door into the back rooms, out the back door. it s something you cannot fathom. ....

There s several details in the account that are very, very incredible. namely that she wasn t drugged or incapacitated through alcohol. alcohol is a common feature in most sexual assaults on campus. and also that it would have had to be elaborately premeditated. they would have had to plan it out involving so many people to such a degree that it just kind of strained it would have been unique, unlike any other kind of assault that s happened on campus. so which is not to say it couldn t happen. but all those things made me say, is this is this absolutely true? is it perhaps embellished? and it particularly that she seemed so grievously injured from glass shards and being punched in the face and raped, a terrible experience that unfortunately didn t seem completely like it plausibly happened. robby, i want to show you a paragraph from the washington post at the end of the week. this is t. reese shapiro doing ....
