BOULDER — The city released Monday a request for proposals to own and operate an e-scooter and e-bike sharing program, it announced in a news release. The program would build on the existing Boulder Bike Share program, which has operated a pedal-bike sharing system in the city since 2011. According to the news release, Boulder is seeking proposals that incorporate state-of-the-art information technology into the e-scooters and e-bikes to provide a viable option for replacing car trips. “The City of Boulder’s overall goal for the Shared Micromobility Program is to provide community mem...
