A new survey reveals that large majorities of people in East Asia believe men and women should share familial responsibilities. The results: The survey, which was conducted by the Pew Research Center from June to September 2023 in Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and Vietnam, found that both men and women believe that responsibilities, including earning money, making financial decisions and caring for children and looking after aging family members, should be shared between partners.

Saudi Arabia will contribute $26.6 million to support initiatives financing the fund of the Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC), announced Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman on Saturday. Prince Khalid, who also serves as chairman of the coalition’s Council of Defense Ministers, also declared that the Kingdom would support 46 training programs as part of the Coalition's four ideological domains, including its media, military, and anti-terrorism financing fields.

Saudi Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, who also serves as the Chairman of the Council of Defense Ministers of the member states of the Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC), inaugurated on Saturday the second meeting of the Council in Riyadh. The meeting held under the theme "Combating Terrorism: A Shared Responsibility," was attended by defense ministers from IMCTC member states and its supporting countries.
