The City of Arcadia will be celebrating more than the Labor Day holiday this weekend as the community marks 150 years since its founding in 1871. According to
Ron Leiting, 84 of Carroll, and formerly of Westside, died Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at his residence in Carroll surrounded by his family. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Saturday, January 2, 2021 at St. John Catholic Church in Arcadia. The Celebrant will be Fr. Timothy Pick. Music will be by Sharon Bierl. Lectors for the Funeral Mass will be Ron’s granddaughters. Casket Bearers will be Ron’s grandsons. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery in Arcadia.
