A one-vehicle accident late Friday afternoon in Izard County resulted in the death of a Sharp County man. According to the Arkansas State Police, 57-year-old Michael Moore of Evening Shade was pronounced dead at the time of the first responders’ arrival to the scene in Zion. The report from the Izard County Sheriff’s Office states Moore was traveling on Zion Road when his vehicle left the right side of the roadway.
